Hi friend! I’m Amanda Martinsen, the writer behind Give Her Grace.
Life gets messy and hard sometimes. I’m so thankful for encouragement and grace to see me through. You too?

You see, I thought being a mama
would come easy to me. I thought being a
wife would be simple. I thought I could
balance it all with working and serving in ministry. And boy was I wrong. Through busy
seasons of life with little ones, work, family and ministry, there have been
two constants for me: grace and encouragement. I knew that I was not alone in my
struggles. Other women needed
encouragement to keep pressing on too.
That’s exactly how this blog was
born. Give Her Grace was birthed from my desire to reach women where they
are and encourage them to pursue Jesus boldly in whatever season of life they
may be facing.
If you’ve been around for a while
you may remember I used to blog under a different name, Into the Beautiful
Life. While I loved it, it
just didn't seem to fit my life or my calling from the Lord anymore. I
wanted a new direction for my writing ministry and Give Her Grace seemed to fit
perfectly.
Grace for yourself. Grace for others.
God so freely gives us this gift
{grace} if we are His children and have accepted His son, Jesus Christ. What a precious gift to not only give
ourselves, but to the women around us.
When I’m not writing, I find solace and a lot
of laughter in my sweet husband, Brian. Together
we are parents to two amazing little girls, Brooke, 4 and Georgia, almost 2. They give me a run for my money almost daily!
Becoming a mother utterly rocked my world.
It is by far the hardest and most challenging thing I've ever done, but
it gives me a joy I would have never expected. These are my people. They get me and love me through my worse
moments. Since they are so cute, I think
I will keep them.
If you were looking for
someone who has it all together, unfortunately I’m not your girl. I’m messy.
Broken. Imperfect. I have an off sense of humor that not
everyone always gets or “appreciates” as my husband says. I mess up and fail almost daily. I’m so very thankful for God’s unending
grace.
And if you really want to get on my good side, just bring me Chick-Fil-A. I'm automatically yours forever.

So what do you say? Why we don’t do this messy, hard life stuff
together friend?
"Instead, offer only fresh words that build others up when they need it most. That way your good words will communicate grace to those who hear them."
